Messaging the Organizer About a Prize

To arrange prize delivery, the organizer and the winner don't need to move to private messages - the conversation happens right inside Re:Activity. The person on the other end of this chat is guaranteed to be who they claim to be: the platform itself matches your account to the participation record, so there's no way to fake this channel.

For the winner

  1. Open the activity page where you won and tap "Message the organizer" next to your win. The button is visible only to you - the platform matches it against your participation record.
  2. The mini-app opens the chat - no forms, no registration: you're already signed in with your social account.
  3. If the organizer needs an address for delivery, just share it in the chat.

If you don't open the chat, that's fine too: the organizer still gets your contact details through the notification, and the verification-code method remains available (see Verification Code: How It Works).

For the organizer

  1. Open "My Activities" -> tap "Statistics" on the activity you need.
  2. In the "🏆 Winners" block, tap "Message" next to the winner - this opens the thread.
  3. Sort out the address and delivery details right there in the chat.

Limit: you can't send more than 3 messages in a row without a reply from the winner - this protects the winner from being overwhelmed. The limit resets as soon as the winner replies.

Why this is safer than private messages#

In private messages, anyone can pretend to be the organizer - scammers actively monitor giveaway posts. An in-app chat removes the possibility of impersonation entirely: only the owner of the activity can open a thread with a specific winner, and only the account matched to that winner's participation record can message on their behalf. There's nothing to fake here - a scammer has no way to step outside the platform.

That's exactly why no verification code is needed or asked for inside this chat. The verification code (Measure A) still exists for cases where contact happens through ordinary private messages - see Verification Code: How It Works for details.

Safety precautions

Even in the official chat, the usual safety rules apply:

  • The organizer only needs your address for delivery. Never send card details, SMS codes, or passwords - not in this chat, not anywhere else.
  • If the conversation looks suspicious or the other side asks for more than they should, tap "Report". Support will review it.
  • Either side can report, and doing so doesn't block the chat automatically - a moderator makes that call.

Timeframe

The thread stays open the whole time the activity is active, plus 90 days after it ends - enough time to arrange and wait for delivery even across Russia. After that, the thread switches to read-only: the conversation stays visible, but new messages can't be sent.
