Giveaway randomizer#
The Re:Activity randomizer picks giveaway winners from your participant list or from a number range. Instead of a bare number, the results are shown as a marble race: every participant rolls down the track as a marble, marbles drop out one by one, and the winner crosses the finish line first. Followers actually watch it to the end, and you get a ready-made card for your post, a post text and a link to the results.
The randomizer is free and works without signing up. An account is needed only for the paid race video.
When to use it#
- The giveaway already happened in comments, reposts or messages, and all that is left is to pick a winner from the list.
- Participants got numbers: by comment order, receipts or tickets. Then a range is enough and no list is needed.
- You want to show the results to your followers as an event, not as a screenshot of a spreadsheet.
Want the same race without collecting the list by hand? Launch an activity with the Marble Race mini-game: followers take a numbered marble right in the post, the bot collects participants, and after the deadline the whole channel watches the race while the results are announced automatically. How to launch an activity from scratch is covered in Your First Activity in 5 Minutes.
How to run a giveaway#
1. Add participants#
On the List tab, paste participants one per line: a name, an @username or a link. Extra spaces at the edges and double spaces inside a line are cleaned up automatically. If someone is on the list twice, a "duplicate" badge appears next to them, and Remove duplicates keeps everyone once. If the chance should depend on the number of comments, keep the duplicates.
For VKontakte there is a From a VKontakte post block: paste a post link like https://vk.ru/wall-123_456, choose who to load (commenters or people who liked it) and press Load participants. The list replaces the text in the field, the community itself and repeated authors are removed. From Telegram and MAX the list is copied by hand: these platforms do not give commenters to third-party services. A giveaway by comment numbers is more convenient there.
On the Numbers tab, set the From and To range: every number becomes a marble on the track.
2. Set winners and prizes#
Choose the number of winners. In the Prize and title block you can set the giveaway title, the main prize, how many places the prize has, add more prizes and upload a prize image. The image is used only for the results card and is not stored on the server.
3. Start the show#
Press Start the show. First comes the elimination race, with the number of marbles left on screen, then the final. The show can go Full screen, and if there is no time to wait, Skip the show goes straight to the results.
Winners are determined at launch, before the show starts. The race only shows a result that already exists, so neither skipping the show nor rewatching it affects the outcome.
What you get#
The results page has everything you need to publish:
- Winners by place and prize, plus the race finalists.
- Download the card - a 1080×1350 PNG for a post in Telegram, VKontakte and MAX.
- Post text - a ready-made results text, copied with one button.
- Show link like
/random/r/{code}: anyone can open it to rewatch the race and see the winners and the verification data. - Watch the race again and Run another one.
Video for your post#
A short vertical video of the marble race for stories and posts: MP4 1080×1920, about a minute long. The video is paid with 🧪 flasks from your balance, and the current price is shown right on the Video for your post button. You need to sign in to order it. While the video is being prepared you can leave the page: it will be saved, and anyone can download it from the results link without signing in. If the video fails, the flasks go back to your balance. You can order up to 5 videos a day.
Limits#
| Parameter | Limit |
|---|---|
| Participants in a list | from 2 to 10,000 |
| Participant line length | up to 64 characters |
| Number range | up to 10,000,000 numbers |
| Winners per giveaway | up to 50 |
| Prizes | up to 10 |
| Giveaway title | up to 120 characters |
| Prize image | up to 2 MB |
| Results are kept for | 180 days |
There must be fewer winners than participants. If you run giveaways too often in a row, the randomizer will ask you to wait a minute.
Verification and participant data#
Below the results there is a How to verify block: the draw code, the seed and the list hash. Paste your original list there and press Check: your browser recomputes the winners and compares them with the results. The step-by-step method with a JavaScript example is in How to verify randomizer results.
We do not store the participant list itself. Only the list hash, the winners and up to 20 finalists are kept, and only for 180 days so that the results link keeps working.
